Description of the event: The College of Engineering, in cooperation with the Saudi Engineers Council, held a symposium on renewable energy and its future in the KSA. His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Al-Thubaiti and Dr. Hamed Al-Maliki gave a lecture on renewable energy and its future in the KSA, in which he talked about the different types of renewable energy stations and the possibility of using them in KSA. He also answered questions from the audience regarding the future of energy in the Kingdom.

Objectives of the symposium:

1. Introducing students and engineers to the importance of renewable energy.

2. Providing community service in cooperation with the Saudi Council of Engineers and how to participate in building society.

Most notable achievements:

1. Cooperation with the Saudi Council of Engineers regarding the community.

2. Introducing the importance of renewable energy and the extent to which it can be utilized locally.
